Coronavirus UPDATE

REMAINING RALLLIES FOR 2020

The committee wish to inform all our members that due to the new lockdown situation in our area that all the remaining Northumberland Centre rallies scheduled for 2020 are now cancelled.

The 2021 programme will be published as soon as we can have it confirmed.

Hopefully the 2021 season will then go ahead providing all local restrictions are lifted.

Please remember to all stay safe and follow all guidelines.

Northumberland Centre Committee.

NEW DATE FOR AGM

The AGM that should of taken place on the 4th October 2020 will now be held on the 16th JANUARY 2021.

Time and venue will be posted on here in due course.

Please note that if you wish to speak or vote at this AGM you must be registered as a member of Northumberland Centre 35 days prior to this event (12th December 2020).

All nominations must be received by the secretary at least two weeks prior to the AGM (2nd January 2021 by 12 noon).

At the recent committee meeting it was decided that as we are not going to be rallying until next year it might be fun to hold a virtual quiz night. This will be on Saturday 7th November at 7.30pm.

If this is successful and members wish for it to continue then we would look at holding on them on a fortnightly basis perhaps with different members hosting

Club update on Rallying and COVID-19

"After the Government’s announcement that new legislation will come into effect on Monday 14 September limiting social gatherings to six people, the general Rule of Six principle is that if you are operating in accordance with current Covid-secure guidance (as rallies are) you will be able to continue doing as you are currently, provided that individual groups obey the Rule of Six.

All rallies have a Covid Risk assessment in place, a Test and Trace protocol and are adhering to social distancing regulations - there should still be no social gatherings on the rally, however groups of up to six may mix (this does not apply to individual households or support bubbles of more than six, who will still be able to gather together)"
